Remember that the Home Team Coach is required to call the Visiting Coach on Sat. Or Sun.
preceding your game for that week to verify game time and field location.
This only amounts to 2-3 calls per week. (If all Coaches submit email Addresses
you can correspond by email to check on dates and location)
When Completing the required paperwork DO NOT list any items as "USE LAST YEARS".
Thank You, Some Maps, etc.have been copied so many times they are hard to read.
This Program continues to:
-Encourage coaches to reschedule rained-out games instead of taking forfeit wins.
-Reduce the on-field disputes that are created by the "over-competitive, winning is
most important thing "mentality. No Official record/standings are Kept.
-Eliminate the need of in-season and end of season administrative duties.
Here is how the program will work. I will continue to schedule two levels of competition. The League is
primarily for 15 - 16 year-old boys. The American (upper) League will primarily be non-varsity juniors,
more advanced sophomores & Freshman players. The National (lower) League is Primarily less skilled
sophomores and freshman players. "Playing Down" is strongly discouraged and could jeopardize the
willingness of other towns to travel to your community for future games. Each team must be
committed to the following criteria:
1. Have a home field available a minimum of two days per week/per team.
2. Be able to play three games each week, between Monday-Friday Fridays will Be
used primarily for field conflicts or when you schedule rain-out make-ups.
3. Pay $60.00 scheduling fee/per team.
4. Provide a certificate of insurance and a map to your field (containing Randall Rd, Rt. 47 & I-88)
5. Have all paperwork completed, fees paid, and finalize which level your team(s) will
compete at, By May 1, 2007
6. Follow the Program Playing Rules/Guidelines
Each team will receive a check-off sheet of tentative communities / teams that should be competing in the
program this year. You have the opportunity to check off which towns your team is willing to travel to and
play this season. Remember, game time is 5:45pm, unless otherwise listed. The game season will begin
June 2nd and run through July 30th. I will complete the game schedule and it will be handed out May 13th.
I will coordinate all team information, fees, schedule information and be a source for disseminating any
tournament
information I receive prior to June 1st.
Only One Meeting will take place prior to the start of the season. Time and Place to be announced Soon
New Coaches & Community coordinators are encourage to call me with any questions well in advance of the
May 1st information Due Date.
The Meeting is Mandatory. It is imperative that each team be represented. League schedules, field Maps
coaches information, and tournament information will be handed out at this time.
Once the Schedules are handed out, it is your responsibility to contact opposing coaches with any conflicts,
changes in schedules, changes in fields, changes in coaching information
