Dalton Sproul was 2-for-3 with a triple and 4 RBIs for Herscher (17-2-2).

Winning pitcher Ryan Van Volkenburg struck out 11 and walked none in 6 innings. Cliff Krause had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for Lisle (12-6-1, 9-2-1).

Manteno 3, Peotone 2
Kevin Sloat had the game-winning hit in the 7th inning for Manteno (16-3, 7-3).

Wilmington 11, Dwight 3

The Trojan baseball team lost to Wilmington 11-4 on a bright and sunny day in Dwight. Kiefer Kious took the loss for Dwight who is 4-13-1 overall and 0-11 in the I-8. Ryan Kodat, Carson Banks, and Austin Gantzert each had 2 hits for Dwight. Their next game will be tomorrow vs. Manteno at 4:30pm.

Sandwich 6, Plano 3 - 9 innings

Nate Lee had 2 hits, Arian Herrera and Eloy Carrera each hit a double for Plano

Jake Roehn went 3-for-5 with 2 runs scored and an RBI for Sandwich (10-6).

Coal City 13, Westmont 15

Adam Berg was 3-for-5 with 2 runs and Ryan Schlicher was 3-for-4 with a triple, 4 runs, 2 RBIs and 2 walks for Westmont (17-4).
