Westmont 4, Plano 0
Robert Kokoszka was 2-for-3 with a run and winning pitcher Jean Pietrzak earned the shutout, giving up 4 hits and striking out 8 for Westmont (12-3).

Peotone 2, Wilmington 1
Adam Slager struck out 6 in the complete-game win for Peotone (4-7).

Reed-Custer 5, Dwight 3 (8)
Tyler Schoonover had a 2-RBI single in the top of the 8th and younger brother Travis Schoonover earned the win in relief for Reed-Custer (7-4, 3-3).

Lisle 5, Sandwich 3 (10)
Kevin Coppin was 2-for-4 for Lisle (7-4-1).

At Sandwich, it was a terrific pitcher's duel for the first nine innings. The game was scoreless through nine complete. Jake Roehn pitched the first eight, giving up just three hits while striking out 10. Zach Turber then pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.

That's when Sandwich ran into trouble and Lisle started to click. With two outs and nobody on in the top of the 10th, Trevor Dabbert struggled in relief, giving up two runs without recording an out. Lisle scored five times off Dabbert and Cole Campell to take control.

The Indians tried to rally in the bottom of the 10th, but they could only score three times.

Jeffrey Woods had two hits and a run scored for Sandwich (6-5, 1-4). Zach Fordon added two hits. Roehn and Austin Smith each had a hit and a run batted in.

Herscher 4, Manteno 1
Braden Muhlstadt was 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs for Herscher (12-2-2).

Coal City 12, Seneca 5
At Seneca, Coal City broke open a 2-1 ballgame with a six-run sixth inning.
Trent Nugent, Brian Bergeson and Ryan Schuetz all tallied a hit and a run batted in for Seneca (5-12, 1-5). Brent Bergeson (5 IP, 6 R, 4 ER, 8 H, 3 BB, 5 K) took the loss on the mound.
