Dwight Trojans baseball team defeated Heyworth 7-4 to improve their record
to 8-4 on the season. The winning pitcher was Ben Trainor (2-0) who gave up
1 earned run over 7 innings, 4 hits, 6 strikeouts, 2 walks. Leadings hitter
for Dwight were Alec Frazier- 2 hits and 2 rbi, Ben Trainor- 2 hits and 1
rbi, and Jake Wardell- 2 hits. The Trojans left 18 runners on base with 10
of them being runners on 2nd or 3rd base. One timely hit could have opened
up the game.
