    Minutes for the Tri-County Pony League Meeting March 1, 2009

Attendance: Baseball Commission Greg H. Gould, David Lee President, Tim Riffell

(Lisbon), Jeff Martenson(Indian Creek), Mike Jump(Somonauk), Dave Svoboda

(Somonauk), No representative from Sandwich

1. Meeting called to Order at 3:05pm

   Teams that are Participating for 2009 are

* Since the Meeting Somonauk will have only One Team, and Waterman will not be

  having a team

2. Election of Officers: No one would step forward, so we drew from the Pile,

   and Plano's David Lee was selected.

3. Bill Lidinsky of the Somonauk Bobcats asked to joined the League, after much

   of Discussion it went to a vote. Motion was denied with a

   vote of 8 against, 5 For.

4. Bill asked for a motion to play teams, and not count in the Standings

   Motion Approved 8 For and 2 Against.

5. No Changes were made to the Rules, All Rules will stand.

6. Jeff Martenson made a motion to have all players leave the field of play,

   before discussing strategy. 8 Against, 2 For Motion Denied.

7. Entry fee of $255 Due by May 1st along with Proof of Insurance and Roster

   Field Availability is Due April 1st.

8. Motion was made to make last years rule of Patched Umpires to be Permanent

   after discussion Voted on For 9, against 1, Motion Approved

   Cindy O'Leary will Schedule 1 Patched Umpire

   for your games. (630-552-1218, email: martyol@comcast.net )

   Each team is responsible for having a Blank Check in the

   amount of $55, to pay umpire at the field. Each team is

   responsible of getting a base ump and paying for it.

   Minimum age is 16 yr. old. Games will not be held up

   because there is no base ump. Please Notify Cindy of any

   game changes and game cancellations. If an umpire does not

   so up, it is the home teams responsibility to find someone to replace him,

   both coaches must agree on the replacement.

9. All-Star Game July 12,2009, Post Season Tournament Begins June 29, 2009

   with the Semi Finals July 10 (6pm & 8pm)and Finals July 11, 2009 at Plano

   All-Star Games are at Plano

10. Bill Lidinsky made a motion to have All-Star Representative.

    All in favor, Non Opposed, Motion Carried.

11. Next Meeting Sunday March 22, 2009 at Plano High School - 3pm
