A calm, but cold evening for the first game of the season.  A tight game thanks to great pitching on both sides. 

Both teams had some rough spots with their defense, but overall, a well played game.

WOW, what a nail biter!  The score seesawed all game as did the excitement since the game came down

to the last batter with two outs and a full count.  Many times during the game when one team thought they

had the game, the other would dig a little deeper.  This was one of those games that both teams deserved

to win as everyone played with class and maturity.  Thanks for a great game.

Harding scored (3) runs in the top of the first to start off the game. Serena's #7 Garzanelli hit a home run

in the bottom of the first but the pitching of #54 Long who pitched for 5 Innings striking out (5) batters

kept Harding in this game defensively.  #46 Austin Davis hit a home run in the top of the fifth and #14 

Thomas made a nice double play in the bottom of the fith to help end the game.  No errors made by the

Harding defense and the bats came alive.  Good game and allot of fun, even in the heat!!!  To Coach

Gunier, the Coaching staff, and the Serena team, thanks for (3) great games this season and we wish
