Plano softball team 2-0 after win

Rachel Dohogne had a two-run homer, while
Nora Ocon and Karlie Thorson had two hits and scored two runs each as Plano
banged out 11 hits in an 8-4 win over Mendota Monday afternoon. Haley Secor
struck out 12 and allowed just three hits to pick up the win for the Reapers,
now 2-0 on the season.
Geneva 4, Sandwich 3 -- Daryl Johns had
two RBIs and Ashley Scoughton had an RBI, while Jen Robinson added two hits
for Sandwich.
Newark 2, Woodland 1 (8 innings) -- Angela
Slack tossed a complete game and held Woodland to five hits to pick up the win
for the Norsemen, who scored the winning run on a throwing error.
Earlville 10, Aurora Christian 7 --
Teuila Letuli-Scott had two hits and scored two runs for Aurora Christian, while
Ashlii Brummel had two hits and two RBIs.
