The Dwight Trojans topped the Plano Reapers 9-8 in a tough I-8 conference game late Friday night. Chris Peck took the win on the mound for the Trojans going 6 2/3 innings. Peck gave up 8 runs on 8 hits striking out 4 and walking 4. Jacob Wardell had 3 hits for Dwight along with 2 hits from Karsen Kopmann, Colton Fieldman, and Austin Gantzert. The Trojans are 5-14-1 overall and 1-12 in the I-8 conference.

Coal
City lost to Wilmington at home on Saturday by a score of 5-1. The Coalers
mustered only 6 hits in the game all singles by 6 different players Coal City
stranded 12 runners in the game and left the bases loaded in 3 different innings.
Nate Chapman hurled 4 innings and gave up 4 runs , 4 strikeouts and 2 walks
