Comets Lose 4-3 To Beecher

For 5 innings the Reed-Custer Comets were cruising in their non-conference match up with Beecher.

Things changed dramatically in the final two frames, however, as the Comets gave up a run in the sixth and 3 runs in the seventh inning as R-C fell to the Bobcats 4-3.

The big blow was a 2 run homer off the bat of Dallas Saddler in the Beecher seventh inning.

Jon Costain, Jordan Walden and Travis Schoonover each had 2 hits to lead the Comets. All three had doubles and Walden chipped in 2 RBI.

Travis Schoonover (0-2) took the loss.

Reed-Custer is now 2-3 on the season.
