2009

To all -
due to the many recent rainouts, the cutoff date for getting your games in for the tournament seeding has now been extended to Saturday June 27, 2009 at 10pm. All scores must be reported to the commissioner Greg Gould by this date and time (rockcreekball@aol.com). NO EXCEPTIONS!! Also, double check your scores and standings for the year to make sure all scores have been entered and all are correct. Any forfeits need to be agreed upon by both teams and will be recorded as a 7-0 score.  If the game cannot be made up and the two coaches cannot agree then it can be determined by the TriCounty board if the circumstances warrant a forfeiture. Typically, the team who cancels is the team who forfeits. Every attempt to make up the game needs to be made before asking for a forfeit.

Tournament starts Monday June 29 at top seeds home field. The final four games are in Plano on July 10th at 5:30pm and 8pm.  July 11th is the 3rd place game @ 1:00pm and 1st place game @ 3:15pm.  The tournament bracket is on line at http://www.rockcreekball.com/PonyTourn2009.htm . Home teams need to let Cindy (martyol@comcast.net for Umpires) and Greg/Dave (for website) know what nights you will have your games as soon as you know.

There will be 2 all star games and 2 skills and drills in Plano on July 12th at Klatt Field in Plano.

All Star game 1: Skills & Drills @ 1:00pm, game at around 2:30pm.

All Star game 2: Skills & Drills @ 5:00pm, game at around 6:30pm.
One all star game will be the 3 plano teams against the the next 3 best teams by tournament seeding, each team bringing 4 all stars.
The other all-star game would then be the 7th through 14th place teams evenly divided, each team bringing 3 allstars.  This should result in 2 very competitive all star games. Please have each player expect the all star festivities to be around 4 hours which includes the all star game and the skills and drills.

fyi, the Bobcats will not be on the same team as Somonauk. This is not at anyone's request, I have determined that this would be best, it's as simple as that.

Good luck to all in your final games and tournament, and I hope to see you in Plano on July 10th & 11th.

Best Regards -
